Read this bit honestly

You already know if this is you.

These are not guesses. They are the six things men message me about most.

  • You wear a black t-shirt when it is boiling outside, because you think it hides your belly.
  • You are out for food with your mates and you order the smaller thing. Not because you want it — because you think they will judge you. They can already see you. Nobody is fooled by the salad.
  • You volunteer to take the group photo. Every time. So you are never in one.
  • You have been saying “I will wear that when I get skinny” for years. Black t-shirt, black joggers, black hoodie — and the weight never came.
  • Everyone is round the pool with their top off and you are sat there in a t-shirt, too aware of being looked at.
  • You will start the gym once you have lost a bit of weight. Which makes no sense — the gym is the place that helps you lose it. And nobody is watching you. You are not that special, and I mean that kindly.

I know, because I was all six of those.

Who you would be working with

I was the guy in the black t-shirt.

I am Ali. I am 26, I am from Glasgow, and I dropped 30kg.

I am not going to tell you my body is perfect, because it is not. It is still not the greatest looking body you will see. But I can wear what I want, take my top off on holiday, and be in the photo instead of taking it. That is the bit that actually changed things. Not the number.

I did not do it with a fad diet or six days a week in the gym. I did it slowly, around a full-time job, eating food I actually like, takeaways and family dinners included. That is exactly how I coach.

What £50 a month actually buys

Everything you need, in one app, with a real person behind it.

No tiers, no upsells, no £300 “transformation package”. One membership, everything in it.

  • 1-to-1 coaching in the Trainerize app

Your training, your food logging, your check-ins and our messages, all in one place. Not a PDF you open once and never again.

  • A training programme built for you

Around your level, your week, and whatever equipment you actually have — full gym, home, or one set of dumbbells.

  • Nutrition that survives real life

Eating out, takeaways, family food, halal-friendly. If a plan cannot handle a Friday night, it is not a plan.

  • Weekly check-ins with me

Every week we look at what actually happened and I adjust it. This is the part that makes it work.

  • Direct message access

Stuck in front of a menu at 9pm? Send it over. You get me, not a chatbot and not a group chat.

  • The guides, free as they land

Every guide I write gets added to your membership at no extra cost.

Included free with membership

The guides I am writing for you.

Five guides, written from what men actually ask me. They are added to your membership as each one is finished, at no extra cost.

Being written

100+ Meal Plans

Real food from UK supermarkets, halal-friendly, with shopping lists and portions.

Being written

The Gym Anxiety Guide

Walking in for the first time. Where to go, what to do, and how to stop feeling watched.

Being written

The Fitness Confidence Guide

The head side of it — clothes, photos, mirrors, and the stories you tell yourself.

Being written

The Holiday Guide

How to enjoy a week away without undoing months of work.

Being written

The Workout Guide

Form, structure and progression, explained without the jargon.

Straight answer: these are being written now, and they are not finished. I would rather tell you that than pretend a complete bundle already exists. As each one lands it appears in your membership, free.

From here to your first week

How it actually works.

1

A free 30-minute call

Video or phone. Your goals, your history, any injuries, and what has failed before. No pressure and no card details.

2

I build your plan

Training and nutrition around your schedule, your equipment and the food you actually eat. I will tell you on the call exactly when it will land.

3

You get set up on Trainerize

App download and a walkthrough. Workouts, demo videos, food logging and messaging — all in one app.

4

You start, with me watching

The first week is structured for you. Send form videos, ask the questions you think are stupid. That is what I am there for.

5

Weekly check-ins

Every week: what worked, what did not, and what changes. This is the accountability you are actually paying for.

Straight talk

I am not going to invent testimonials.

I am early. I would rather show you nothing than show you screenshots I made up — you have seen enough of those.

What I can tell you is what you get: a real person in Glasgow who did this himself, a plan built around your life, and a check-in every single week. If that is not enough to go on, book the free call and judge me on the call.

When the men I coach are happy to be quoted here, their words will go here. Theirs, not mine.

Before you ask

The questions I get every week.

I am too unfit to start.

That is the reason to start, not the reason to wait. Week one is built for where you are now. If that is two 20-minute sessions and a walk, then that is what week one is. Nobody starts fit.

I do not have a gym.

Then your plan does not use one. Home workouts, bands, dumbbells, bodyweight — I build around what you have got. If you want to join a gym later, I will walk you through the first session.

I have tried before and stopped.

So did I, more than once. What usually breaks it is a plan that only works on a perfect week. Yours has to survive shifts, takeaways and a bad Tuesday, or it is the wrong plan.

I work shifts or I travel a lot.

Tell me on the call. Sessions get built around your rota, and the food side is designed to work in a service station and a hotel, not only in your own kitchen.

Is the food halal-friendly?

Yes. I eat halal, so the plans are built that way by default — normal UK supermarket food, nothing exotic or expensive.

How much time does this take each week?

Most people train three times a week, 45 to 60 minutes. If you can only manage two, we work with two. Consistency beats intensity every single time.

Do I need equipment?

No. Plenty of people start with a pair of trainers and nothing else.

What actually happens on a check-in?

You send me your week — training, food, weight, sleep, and how you felt. I go through it and come back with what to keep, what to change and what we are doing next week. It takes you a few minutes.

What if I do not like it?

Then say so and we stop. I would rather you cancelled than sat paying for something you are not using. The free call exists so we both find that out before you have paid anything.

Can I cancel?

Yes. The terms are written out in plain English in the offer box above — no small print games.

Be in the next group photo.

Nothing changes on its own, and next summer arrives whether you started or not. One call, thirty minutes, no card details.

Nobody is watching you as closely as you think they are. Start anyway. — Ali
